Mongolian Art Today 2 Choindongiin Khurelbaatar: "New Works"

Choindongiin Khurelbaatar is one of the most respected
contemporary Mongolian painters working in the academic tradition
and was chairman of the Union of Mongolian Artists until December
2004.
Born in 1959 and educated at art schools in Ulaanbataar and St
Petersburg he is technically highly gifted. He focuses on the
subjects that are so traditional in Mongolian art; landscapes,
still life's, history and Shamanism.
His paintings are precise yet executed in such soft tones and
gentle brushstrokes.
The show is organised by 4th world adventure.
